In-Public projected

As part of the Arles Photo Festival this year, images from In-Public’s 10th Anniversary Book were projected in the streets, thanks to Antennes.

Nathalie Belayche of Food for your Eyes invited us to take part in the Paris Slideluck Potshow event.

Elsewhere, two Dutch magazines have ‘Street’ issues featuring the work of In-Public members. FOAM magazine reproduces Otto Snoek’s ‘Millionair’ project, while GUP features the work of In-Public Master Joel Meyerowitz, as well as members David Solomons, Matt Stuart and Jesse Marlow.

Manifesto

In-Public was set up in 2000 to provide a home for Street Photographers.

Our aim is to promote Street Photography and to continue to explore its possibilities, we are a non commercial collective. All the photographers featured here have been invited to show their work because they have the ability to see the unusual in the everyday and to capture the moment. The pictures remind us that, if we let it, over-familiarity can make us blind to what’s really going on in the world around us.
