Due to continued demand David Gibson will be repeating his recent Street Photography Workshop but this time over 2 days and crucially with a smaller group.
The workshop will be over the weekend of 10th & 11th December.
The workshop will be limited to just 6 participants thereby giving more individual feedback and advice. The opening session on the Saturday afternoon will be a formal 3-hour presentation on street photography…the history, meaning and aesthetics of the genre. The Sunday will be a day out shooting around east London (until it gets dark) and will then continue informally in a quiet café or bar to review the work taken. As before participants are encouraged to bring older work for consideration too.
The details for the workshop are:
Saturday: 2pm – 5pm
Sunday: 11.30am – 6.30pm
The venue will be 1 Rivington Place, EC2.

In-Public was set up in 2000 to provide a home for Street Photographers.
Our aim is to promote Street Photography and to continue to explore its possibilities, we are a non commercial collective. All the photographers featured here have been invited to show their work because they have the ability to see the unusual in the everyday and to capture the moment. The pictures remind us that, if we let it, over-familiarity can make us blind to what’s really going on in the world around us.Read more
