in-sight film now available.
Wednesday 21 September 2011
The full 38 min version of in-public’s ‘in-sight’ documentary film is now available to stream through the new Distrify film distribution platform.
Distrify is a pioneering way to allow independent film makers to charge a small fee per viewing of their film and represents a possible commercial model for the future. We are proud to use the ‘in-sight’ film to support their initiative.
The film follows members of the in-public street photographers group shooting on the streets of New York, London, Melbourne and Rotterdam. Using miniature HD camera technology to place the viewer on the Hotshoe as they work. Each photographer talks about their motivation and approach.
If you enjoy the trailer you can pay a small fee via paypal to watch the full 38 min documentary in HD.
Thank you for your support.

Manifesto
In-Public was set up in 2000 to provide a home for Street Photographers.
Our aim is to promote Street Photography and to continue to explore its possibilities, we are a non commercial collective. All the photographers featured here have been invited to show their work because they have the ability to see the unusual in the everyday and to capture the moment. The pictures remind us that, if we let it, over-familiarity can make us blind to what’s really going on in the world around us.
