We are absolutely delighted to announce the addition of German street photographer Siegfried Hansen as a new member of in-public.
Siegfried who is based in Hamburg has long been on our radar because he consistently produces great work: he is prolific in both colour and black and white. His signature style, which is very graphic, carefully composed and frequently witty, is an inspiration to many in the street photography community.
This brings the in-public membership up to 23 and is part of our on-going quest to recruit the very best street photographers in a wide range of styles from all over the world.
In-Public was set up in 2000 to provide a home for Street Photographers.
Our aim is to promote Street Photography and to continue to explore its possibilities, we are a non commercial collective. All the photographers featured here have been invited to show their work because they have the ability to see the unusual in the everyday and to capture the moment. The pictures remind us that, if we let it, over-familiarity can make us blind to what’s really going on in the world around us.Read more
